Security Engineer Specialist
Salary Range: Up to THB 150,000
Job Type: Permanent (Full Time)
Report to: DevSecOps Lead
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Governance & Advisory
- Adopt and maintain security strategies, policies, and frameworks according to SCBX group framework.
- Collaborate with risk teams to ensure enterprise security compliance.
- Support security awareness initiative
Cloud & Infra Security
- Manage cloud security posture and workload protection.
- Maintain network security solutions (FW/IDS/IPS, segmentation, NAC).
- Oversee DDoS protection, hardening, and patching.
- Deploy and monitor endpoint security and anti-malware solutions.
- Enforce mobile device management policies.
Application Security
- Adopt secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) andDevSecOps practices.
- Conduct application security testing and assessments.
- Review API and micro services security.
- Manage container security and application firewalls.
- Implement and monitor application security controls.
Data Security
- Monitor data discovery and classification policies.
- Review and enforce data loss prevention (DLP) and tokenization measures.
- Manage encryption for data at rest and in transit.
- Oversee certificate and key management practices.
- Conduct data integrity monitoring and access audits.
Cyber Defense
- Remediate and coordinate security issue finding report from SCBX SoC such as bug bounty, ASM and security incident.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, ComputerScience, or a related field.
- 3 years or more of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with security architecture, IAM, cloud security, and threat intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks.
- Proficiency in security tools including SIEM, DLP, IAM, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, SDLC, and secure application development best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple security domains.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP,CISM, CEH, or Security+ are a plus.
- Good communication skills in English.
