The Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited or SCB joined forces with Abakus Group to launch the new joint venture company named MONIX Co., Ltd.
The company’s main objective to carry out a digital lending business to drive a long-term growth with digital lending in Thailand and Southeast Asia countries. Abakus Group is a global leading technology-driven company specializing in artificial intelligence or AI, big data, and cloud computing development, especially for financial businesses. It was reported that SCB holds 60% and Abakus Group holds 40% of the total shares of MONIX Co., Ltd. according to Bank of Thailand.
